Terms of Service

By registering on Saptapadi ("we", "the Service") you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (women) / 21 years old (men) to marry under Indian law, and legally competent to enter a contract. The Service is only for people genuinely seeking marriage, for themselves or on behalf of a family member with their consent.

2. Your profile

• All information you provide must be true and current. Do not impersonate anyone or upload photos of other people.
• We may review, edit for policy compliance, hide or remove any profile at our discretion, including profiles that appear fake, incomplete or abusive.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

3. Premium access

A one-time payment of ₹499 unlocks contact details and photos of other members for the life of your account. Premium access is personal and non-transferable. See the Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use contact details obtained from the Service for commercial purposes, spam, harassment, fraud, or any purpose other than seeking a marriage alliance. Do not demand or offer dowry, which is illegal under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Violations lead to immediate account termination without refund and may be reported to authorities.

5. Safety disclaimer

We do not conduct background checks unless explicitly stated. Members must independently verify the identity, background and intentions of any person before meeting or sharing money. Never send money to anyone you met online. Meet in public places and involve your family.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline, or for the outcome of any alliance. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kalaburagi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Contact

Grievances: support@example.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
